Tidbit

Just a tidbit, a morsel or two to let you know that I'm still here, and still planning on posting more regularly. (I have a big backlog of images to edit from the RV trip and more...)

This is the view from our bedroom window right now. Somehow this part of the garden looks fantastic, even though it has been pretty much ignored for months. The white flowers are the "weeds" that I let grow, probably white snakeroot. The yellow blooms are Rudbeckia submentosa, which always flops once it blooms. I have much of this in my garden now because it's the only way to get some of it to survive the deer.

The driveway is still a bit of a mess, but I've organized it somewhat. It looks like I'm ready for visitors:

Although the only ones I have had this summer have no need for a seating area:

(It's a turtle in case you're reading this on a small device)

I'm glad somebody is getting use from it. :)

Very thoughtful of you to arrange that setting for the turtle. Hm, I think I've been "planning on posting more regularly" for a year or so. Still working on that, myself. Heh. I like your "weeds". I have quite a few of those kinds of plants.

Ah! I was just wondering if you were ever coming back! Good to "see" you!

The turtle is precious! He's watching your garden while you are busy.

Some seasons are really busy and leave less time to play in the garden. Yours looks great nonetheless and your turtle guest seems to think it's grand! Glad you're still there and hope that things calm down for you soon. The fall plant migration is just around the corner!
