My bamboo before/after post is taking so much time, just some quick thoughts today. Sometimes life gets in the way...
This corner of the driveway is becoming so nice now...
Its views are some of my favorites:
I suspect it will permanently become a seating area, especially since the garage is now a workshop and won't be holding vehicles anytime soon.
Another favorite returns...
...the ducks! They've been walking around the garden a bit more than normal, and I saw them poking around underneath the deck stairs. Looking for a nesting site?
The Pleioblastus viridistriatus bamboo in the front yard (planted last year) is already starting to push new growth:
So vibrant, it will be so impressive in a couple of weeks. Traffic-stopping impressive? I hope so!

Ducks are cute! Do you get ducklings too?
Peter: They can't eat the big ones, but maybe they eat babies? The pond probably has too many fish already so I'm not too bothered.
Renee: no ducklings yet. I don't think we have a good nesting site here.
