Savannah Sunset

As I hinted at yesterday, last week I spent a couple of days in Savannah. The first day was cold and rainy, but the second was sunny, allowing me to think it was spring!

Sure, it was fairly cold that morning (40ºF or so), but it looked a lot warmer. That's all that really mattered though, as it turns out I wasn't able to get outside that day.

I enjoyed the view from the hotel windows though...

Look at all of that green!

Toward the end of the day the top (15th) floor of the hotel gave a wonderful view of the downtown area...

...which became so warm and wonderful in the light of the setting sun...

Things got even better a few minutes later when the show really started...

Nice effect...

...but it's better when you find a window that doesn't reflect the room lights:

Such color!

A few minutes later it somehow became even more beautiful:

What a lovely view of a nice downtown area. I wish I could have this view of sunsets at my house!

(I wish I could see any sunsets from my house)

Why weren't you able to go aside? Savannah is supposed to be stunning. Savannah, Charleston and Buford are near the very top of my must-see list.

Busy day of conferences and meetings in the hotel. I did get outdoors Friday morning, which you'll see soon. :)
