Terrarium succulents, up close

I've been spending a lot of time in recent weeks on the treadmill, which means I spend a lot of time looking at the terrarium -- which is on the table in front of the treadmill.

I know I recently posted about the plants here, but today I just wanted to give you another, even closer look.

There's so much texture here, some of it you can even touch...

Here's a tip: when taking macro shots of cactus, try to always photograph the tallest part of the plant. If you go for the lower parts, make sure you know exactly where your camera hand is!

You take great photographs. I could definitely 'feel' the pictures! I would love a macro lens.

Great tip - born from experience?

Great photos! Nice that the treadmill keeps you in shape for gardening while winter rages on...

Lovely macro photos! When I look at them, I'm feeling like I could see "the life running through them" !
