Rest

When it's hot and you've spent an hour or two the last few days dragging around the hose making sure the less-established plants don't dry up, sometimes it's nice to just take it easy for a while.

Find a nice, cool spot and do as little as possible.

That's what I'm doing today, sorry! Regular post again tomorrow.

I'm not lounging in the pond like the tadpoles are, but I am enjoying some air conditioning and cool drinks. What are you doing to take it easy this summer?

No taking it easy around these parts. June and July are the months of intense activity. Here's hoping August brings a little relaxation.

Seriously. My yard, which was so appealing just last week, is suddenly the last place I want to be. And I'm doing my share of hose dragging as well. Looks like we might cool down next week - lets hope!

I actually do about 10 minutes of work and then relax in the cool shade for at least twice that long! The only way to garden in such heat. And no air conditioning at my house!
