Look, in the pond!

Another first in the garden for me:


A water lily bloom! The pond continues to delight, with something new almost every day.

There's just a single bloom right now, but I'm happy with that!






This was supposed to be the water lily variety 'Attraction', which is described as a red-flowering variety. This looks a lot more like pink to me (maybe magenta), but I'm still delighted with it!

I was hoping you'd get flowers on your water lilies. They're so beautiful, especially surrounded by those perfectly flat leaves. I bet you're as excited as I get when one of my small cacti flowers :-).

Beautiful! Oh how I wish we would have put our stock tank pond in a more sunny location so I could be enjoying water lilies!

That lily is a beautiful color. I am excited to be entering the world of the stock tank too. I know I will be shopping for beauties such as this.
