What I believe is Black-legged Meadow Katydid (Orchelimum nigripes) on a sweet potato vine. Please correct my ID in comments if I'm wrong!

I'm peering into its eyes and smiling. And it's such a wonderful word too!

Śliczne zdjęcia tego małego pasikonika. Dobrze, że usiadł na listku o kolorze innym niż on jest, bo go ładnie widać, ze szczegółami. Pozdrawiam

Thanks for the compliments, but at least half of the credit goes to the bug for climbing up onto the "wrong plant" for a change -- when these things are in the ornamental grasses they're so hard to get a photo of!
